Giovanna PICCINNO | Scientific Responsible

Architect, Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Design – School of Design. President and coordinator of the BSc in Interior Design and of the MSc in Interior and Spatial Design. She investigates and develops projects, conducts experimental and applied research, and teaches in Interior and Spatial Design.

She works internationally. In 2019, she founded PERISCOPE | Spatial Design | HUB, an international research team at the Department of Design – Politecnico di Milano, with a methodological perspective for future spatial projects of the Earth, and TIS_Thesis Incubator Studio, an international design group that develops strategic design-driven research for Companies, also related to territorial marketing actions.

Selected for the Compasso d’Oro Design Award (Research project 100 Virtuous Cities, 2010). She was part of Sistema Design Italia (SDI).
